Animals spotted by Danny VG: “The walnut gall mite causes elevations ("galls") on the walnut leaf. On the top of the leaf are caterpillar-shaped, 1-2.5 cm long elevations. On the underside of the leaf under the elevations there are cavities with many light brown hairs. The felt mites, which are less than 0.1 mm in size, live between these felt-like hairs.” in the NatureSpots App on 04.05.2021
