Sulphur-crested Cockatoo spotted by Chris-M: “As I am driving by about 6.35pm I cannot see why about 50 cockatoos are in the vicinity of a man, with one or two on his shoulder or arm. I suspect they may have been in the process of or have recently been fed, but I cannot be certain. Rule 1 is to keep my eyes on the road. This activity occurred about 50m short of the intersection of Parisi Rd with Military Rd. On the odd occasion late in the afternoon, when driving by I have seen a horde of cockatoos at the bus stop there, which tempts me to dub it “Cockatoo Corner.”” in the Big City Birds App on 30.12.2023
