White Ibis spotted by Loz McGuirk: “Pop072 had caught it’s feet in some twine and a stick .. it was in distress but flew a few yards when I tried to get close. I used my experience from the baby in the fishing line as it was clear Pop072 could not release itself and she was well tied and getting tighter as she struggles .. so I used my big Waterpolo jacket to capture her and using my teeth got the twine unstuck over about 5 minutes … true .. a memorable and successful visit to Hyde park .. I have no photos of the capture and release but I have pics of the twine and Pop072 afterwards” in the Big City Birds App on 13.06.2022
