The current course of the stream is to the left. More or less straight ahead is a dry stream bed which links to the next downstream spot. There is an earth embankment currently preventing water entering this channel. At times this is breached or overtopped and water flows in this channel, as can be seen in the photos taken at the downstream location. Under normal, and even slightly above normal, flow conditions the flow goes left and the channel is dry. These two channels merge again before the final spot on this stream just before it flows into the River Thames.” in the CrowdWater App on 24.01.2024
