Sonstiges spotted by Werner Schüle: “Auf einer großen gemeindeeigene Wiese wurden etwa um 1940 Kirschbäume gepflanzt. Der Ertrag konnte jedes Jahr ersteigert und dann selbst geerntet werden. Die Kirschen wurden dann an Aufkäufer verkauft. Dies war in den 50er und 60er Jahren ein Zubrot für diejenigen Familien im Ort, die kein eigenes Grundstück mit Obst hatten. Obstverkauf war damals ein wichtiger Nebenerwerb. In den 80er Jahren wurden noch wenige Bäume neu gepflanzt, auf den Wiesen grasten noch ab und zu Kühe.
In den letzten 40 Jahren hat sich niemand mehr dafür interessiert, die Bäume starben nach 2010 fast alle ab, bis die Stadt Weinstadt sie dann 2016 beseitigen ließ. Teilweise wurden jetzt wieder neue Bäume gepflanzt, damit das Landschaftsbild erhalten wird. Doch wer pflegt sie?” in the Landauf, LandApp BW App on 27.01.2021
