unknown species spotted by Megalopoda: “This spider had a made a funnel in the angle between to walls, outside my house, with the opening to the sky. The funnel was extremely flimsy and transparent, so much so I was able to snap this picture through the funnel. It was very sensitive, and quickly hid and got away from the opening as I approached, don’t know if it was because it reacted to my shadow or maybe my footfall.” in the SpiderSpotter App on 08.06.2024

unknown species spotted by Megalopoda: “This amazing crab spider stood beneath this mass for 2-3 days. I assume it was its egg sac, but I couldn’t see any spiderling around. It was very still but would raise its first front legs once I got too close.” in the SpiderSpotter App on 02.08.2023

Silver-sided Sector Spider spotted by Megalopoda: “I assume this is a juvenile as I’ve I seen some Zygiella that were much bigger. You can see it holding onto a line in its web, which I assume lead to a bigger orb-web, unfortunately I did not photograph the web and I can’t remember with certainty.” in the SpiderSpotter App on 08.06.2024
