Kirche spotted by Dietrich Krieger: “Im Kloster Weppach wohnten einst Beghinen, die sich ihren Lebensunterhalt offenbar durch Webarbeiten (daher Weppach) verdienten. Sie pflegten auch Kranke und lebten fromm und bescheiden. So waren die im Vilk sehr beliebt, in der Kirche umso weniger. So mussten die, wie alle Beghinen, später einem Orden beitreten.
